Our inspiration for Engage!20 Dubai was based on the idea of taking the attendees on a journey to discover the city's past on the Dubai Creek, once a bustling port on the trade route between Mesopotamia and the Indus Valley, to then follow the city into the beginnings of modern Dubai, which traces back to the 1830s when the emirate began its transformation from a small fishing village to a bustling regional trade hub, eventually becoming one of the world's leading modern cities.
